Description
The FR107 Fast Recovery Diode is a high-performance silicon diode designed for fast rectification in high-voltage circuits. With a maximum repetitive reverse voltage (Vrrm) of 1000V and a forward current (If) rating of 1A (with a surge capability of up to 30A for 8.3ms), it’s well-suited for power supplies, inverters, and switching applications requiring rapid recovery. Encased in a DO-41 (DO-204AL) axial package, the FR107 features a fast reverse recovery time of 500ns, minimizing switching losses compared to standard diodes, and a forward voltage drop of approximately 1.3V at 1A. Its power dissipation is rated at 1.25W, and it operates within a temperature range of -65°C to 150°C. This RoHS-compliant diode is perfect for DIY electronics, SMPS (switch-mode power supplies), and repairs of consumer electronics where high efficiency and speed are critical. The axial leads are solderable, with a cathode band for easy polarity identification, making it a reliable choice for hobbyists and professionals.
