Description
The A733 PNP Transistor (often labeled as 2SA733) is a versatile silicon bipolar junction transistor (BJT) optimized for low-frequency amplification and switching applications. With a maximum collector-emitter voltage (Vce) of -50V and a collector current (Ic) rating of 150 mA, it’s well-suited for small-signal amplification and driving light loads. The A733 features a power dissipation of 250 mW and a DC current gain (hFE) ranging from 90 to 600 (depending on variants like A733K, P, Q, or R), making it ideal for audio preamplifiers and signal processing circuits. Encased in a TO-92 package, it offers a collector-base voltage (Vcb) of -60V and an emitter-base voltage (Veb) of -5V, with a transition frequency (fT) of approximately 180 MHz. This transistor is commonly used in educational projects, toys, and commercial electronics like radios and low-power amplifiers. It operates reliably within a temperature range of -55°C to 150°C and is complementary to the C945 NPN transistor, enhancing its utility in push-pull configurations.
