Description
The Bambu Lab A1 3D Printer (Without AMS Lite) is a full-size, bed-slinger 3D printer designed for ease of use, speed, and reliability, making it an excellent choice for beginners, hobbyists, and educators. Featuring a 256x256x256mm build volume, it supports a wide range of low-temperature filaments like PLA, PETG, TPU, and support materials (e.g., PVA, HIPS) with a pre-installed 0.4mm stainless steel nozzle (max 300°C hotend, 100°C bed). For abrasive filaments (e.g., PLA-CF/GF), a hardened steel nozzle is recommended to prevent wear. The A1 delivers print speeds up to 500mm/s (optimal at ~300mm/s for quality) and incorporates advanced features like full-auto calibration, including Z-offset, bed leveling, vibration resonance, and nozzle pressure compensation for every print job. Its low-drag linear rails, powerful MCU, accelerometers, and advanced motion control system ensure stable, high-precision output, achieving a 14-minute Benchy with excellent quality. The 2.4-inch touchscreen offers intuitive controls, and connectivity via Wi-Fi, Bambu Studio, or Bambu Handy app enables remote monitoring and time-lapse recording via a built-in camera. With active motor noise cancellation (<48dB in silent mode) and a textured PEI plate for strong adhesion, this RoHS-compliant printer (100-240V, ~830W max) is plug-and-play, requiring minimal setup. Ideal for prototyping, model making, and educational projects, the A1 operates best in 10°C–30°C with <85% humidity. Note: This model excludes the AMS Lite, limiting it to single-color printing with a rear-mounted spool holder.
