Description
The FR207 Fast Recovery Diode is a robust silicon diode engineered for fast rectification in high-voltage circuits requiring higher current capacity. With a maximum repetitive reverse voltage (Vrrm) of 1000V and a forward current (If) rating of 2A (with a surge capability of up to 60A for 8.3ms), it’s ideal for use in power supplies, inverters, and motor control circuits. Housed in a DO-15 (DO-204AC) axial package, the FR207 offers a fast reverse recovery time of 500ns, reducing switching losses, and a forward voltage drop of approximately 1.3V at 2A. It has a power dissipation of 3W and operates reliably within a temperature range of -65°C to 150°C. This RoHS-compliant diode is perfect for DIY electronics projects, switch-mode power supplies (SMPS), and repairs where quick recovery and durability are essential. Its axial leads are solderable per MIL-STD-202 standards, and the cathode is marked with a band for easy polarity identification, making it a versatile choice for hobbyists and professionals.
