Description
The S9014 NPN Transistor is a high-performance, low-power silicon transistor designed for pre-amplification, low-frequency oscillation, and switching applications. With a maximum collector-emitter voltage (Vce) of 45V and a collector current (Ic) rating of 100 mA, it’s tailored for small-signal tasks requiring precision and minimal noise. The S9014 features a power dissipation of 400 mW and an impressive DC current gain (hFE) ranging from 60 to 1000 (depending on the variant: S9014A, B, C, or D), ensuring excellent linearity for audio frequency (AF) amplifiers and pre-amplifiers. Housed in a TO-92 package, it offers a collector-base voltage (Vcb) of 50V and an emitter-base voltage (Veb) of 5V, with a transition frequency (fT) of approximately 150 MHz. This transistor is commonly used in radios, telephones, and DIY electronics projects, often paired with its PNP complement, the S9015.
