The MAX9814 Microphone AGC Amplifier Module is a high-performance electret microphone module featuring the MAX9814 low-noise microphone amplifier with built-in Automatic Gain Control (AGC). It automatically adjusts the microphone gain based on the surrounding sound level, producing clear and consistent audio output without manual gain adjustments.

The module is ideal for voice recognition, sound detection, audio recording, IoT devices, robotics, and embedded audio applications. It operates from 2.7V to 5.5V, making it compatible with Arduino, ESP32, ESP8266, Raspberry Pi, STM32, and other microcontroller platforms. The module includes an onboard electret microphone and provides an analog audio output that can be connected directly to an ADC pin.

Selectable gain settings of 40dB, 50dB, and 60dB allow you to optimize sensitivity for different environments, while the AGC prevents clipping during loud sounds and amplifies quieter sounds automatically.
