Description

The FEETECH STS3215 is an intelligent serial bus servo built for advanced robotic systems requiring significantly more control and feedback than a conventional PWM hobby servo. The C001 version uses a 1:345 gear ratio and delivers up to 19.5kg.cm stall torque at 7.4V.

Its built-in magnetic encoder provides absolute 360° position sensing, while the serial communication interface allows the controller to command and receive information from the servo. Multiple servos can also be used on a shared serial bus, making the STS3215 particularly suitable for multi-joint robotic systems.

Smart Feedback & Control

Unlike a basic hobby servo that mainly receives a position command, the STS3215 can return operating information to the controller. This includes position, load, speed, voltage, current and temperature, making it useful for robotics projects that require monitoring and closed-loop system behaviour.

360° Magnetic Encoder

The integrated magnetic encoder provides absolute position measurement across 360°. The servo uses a 4096-position representation of a full revolution, corresponding to a maximum position resolution of approximately 0.088°.

High-Torque 1:345 Gear Train

This particular C001 / 1:345 version prioritises torque, producing up to 19.5kg.cm at 7.4V. This makes it particularly useful for joints and mechanisms where holding and moving heavier loads is more important than achieving extremely high rotational speed.
